The Air & Space Forces Association Utah Chapter 235 hosts the 2023 Brent Scowcroft Awards Ceremony to recognize the outstanding individual and team Logistics, Maintenance and Sustainment Performers in the ICBM, Air Dominance, Supply Chain and Munitions career fields.

The Brent Scowcroft Awards Ceremony has been an annual tradition for the past 32 years, named in honor of Lt Gen Brent Scowcroft, a native of Ogden, Utah. General Scowcroft was the National Security advisor to Presidents Gerald Ford and George H. W. Bush, and he played a significant role in military operations such as the Gulf War.

He led the Scowcroft Commission, which mapped the future of America's ICBM mission, and his legacy continues to influence the Air Force community at Hill Air Force Base and the state of Utah. We honor his successful career in developing the architecture for the U.S. nuclear force.

“We honor the nominees and recipients of the Scowcroft Award that recognizes Air Force leaders who, like General Scowcroft, are winners and the best of the best in their specialties,” Scott Warren, Chapter President has said. “The Brent Scowcroft awards continues AFA Chapter 235’s annual tradition of honoring the best. We congratulate this year’s winners.”

This event originally honored the top performers in the ICBM field, but later expanded to include the top Acquisition, Sustainment, Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Munition Performers.
